U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Mobile Office
at Newburgh Armory Unity Center
Newburgh, NY – The Newburgh Armory Unity Center is pleased to announce that the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services mobile office is now open. Appointments to meet with a USCIS agent can now be made at www.uscis.gov/infopass. Walk-ins are also welcome.
USCIS will provide an array of services to the residents and local immigrant community of the Mid-Hudson Region at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center. The only office of its kind between New York City and Albany, the USCIS mobile office is conveniently located for NY residents of Dutchess, Ulster, Orange, Sullivan, Putnam and Rockland counties.
USCIS agents will provide customer service assistance with:
- Forms (Petitions/Applications)
- Case Status Inquiries
- Reschedule Requests
- Green Card Production Inquiries
- ELIS Issues
- Adit Stamps
- Emergency Advance Paroles
- General Immigration Information
For starters, the USCIS mobile office at the Newburgh Armory will be open two Wednesdays a month from 8am – 4pm. Please call for dates.

The immigrant refugee populations of Orange County are growing and bringing with them a diversity of cultures that enrich society. Catholic Charities Community Services welcomes Orange County’s immigrants and refugees and assists them in becoming full participants in, and contributors to, American society.
Catholic Charities staff will be present at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center to provide immigration consultations and application assistance in many matters, including:
- Family petitions
- Work authorization
- Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
- Green cards
- Temporary Protected Starus
- Referrals to ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Training
-Referrals to daytime and evening classes that are offered through SUNY Orange and Orange Ulster BOCES
- Referrals to workshop seminars for Entrepreneurism Support with presentations on “Starting Your Own Business”
-These seminars will be conducted by the regional New York State Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), Entrepreneurial Assistance Programs (EAP).
